Garuda Boutique Hotel
In 2020, a new promising direction emerged for the multi-profile company "Garuda Express" — the Boutique Hotel "Garuda", which will certainly delight you with its hospitality.
The hotel is located in the very center of Sukhum, the capital of Abkhazia, just a few minutes' walk from the sea, and comprises a seven-story building with an elevator.
The hotel's highlight is its designer interior, decorated in a colorful oriental style, where each floor represents a different country — Egypt, Turkey, China, India. The architecture of the building itself, which incorporates elements of the East, is notable for its special charm. The boutique hotel is perfect for both youthful vacations and business trips, as well as active family holidays, and for those who value style and a high level of service and comfort.
We thank the people who worked on the Boutique Hotel "Garuda" project, namely: Architects: Kaslandzia Beslan Ivanovich, Shamenkova Svetlana Vlidimirovna; Designer for the room fund: Achba Seda Georgievna; Wall painting artists: Pinchuk Yana Stanislavovna; Fermanyan Anaida Yuryevna.

Garuda Boutique Hotel invites you to stay in one of the 51 rooms decorated according to the trends of exclusive design.
Thanks to its intriguing architecture with Oriental elements, the building is one of the most beautiful new structures in the city.
In the room interiors, masters of art combined classic style with modern architectural and design solutions, adorned in a colorful Oriental style, where each floor, from the very first step, will immerse you in the enchanting atmosphere of Eastern countries: Egypt, Turkey, India, or China.
Lobby bar and restaurant
The hotel lobby features a Lobby Bar. Its stylish and elegant interior seamlessly blends with a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant serves breakfasts and dinners with a wide variety of hot dishes, snacks, fresh pastries, dairy products, and beverages. A hearty and delicious breakfast will set you up with a great mood for the upcoming day.
A final touch of a freshly brewed cup of coffee or fragrant tea will enhance your experience. A hearty and balanced dinner will replenish your body with all the necessary resources. The restaurant always offers a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with pleasant chill-out music, and our professional and friendly staff will serve you at the highest level!
Our concept
Hotel location
The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance of the historical and cultural center, close to administrative buildings, the Government, City Administration, as well as the museum, theater, and shopping centers.
A 10-minute walk (800 meters) will take you to the central promenade. In the 6th century BC, the ancient Greek colony that occupied the area of what is now the city of Sukhumi was known as Dioscurias. One of the city's promenades was named in honor of this ancient city, which has sunk beneath the waves. From the coastal strip, a picturesque view of the sea unfolds. The Dioscuri Promenade is paved with stone, and along it, lamps designed to resemble columns are installed. Extensive beautification work on the city's promenade was carried out in the mid-20th century by order of the Soviet authorities.
The embankment was laid out in the late 19th and early 20th centuries after the end of the Russo-Turkish War. Here you can find historical buildings from the early 1900s. There are also several picturesque architectural monuments from the mid-century. The promenade walkway consists of two esplanades — the Dioscuri Embankment (from the pier to the seaport) and the Mahadzhiry Embankment (from the port to the point where the Basla River flows into the sea).
